My Current Obsession

Usually the phrase that I used for the title of this blog appears at the bottom of my blog entries... at least for the last couple of blogs I suppose. However, I felt present, this time that it warranted a bit more of an explanation. Without further adieu-
But first I wasn't sure how I would react to the current craze surrounding Eragon. Nearly every male between the ages of 10 and 14 has read this book so it is certainly in my best interest to be familiar with its contents. However, when I gave it a whirl I made it about three chapters in, and I just couldn't stand reading it anymore. I just couldn't bring myself to try to immerse myself in another fantasy universe. It takes a lot of effort really to do this- you need to absorb a geography, many crazy off-the-wall names and undoubtedly a different theory of magic with every series. I just couldn't bring myself to do. What was I to do...surely the movie would not suffice considering how often movies based on books totally miss the point...then I found this. Be sure to note that it is the Gameboy ADVANCE version, which is vastly different than every other version out there. This version follows the story of the book better than the movie does, so I'm told and is a rather refreshing turn-based RPG. All other versions on other platforms suck. Anyway it is way too late for me to be bloggingand the only reason I'm not asleep anyway is because I have been catching up on paperwork I talking heatpaperworkyou should also note that I have been using the Dragon voice recognition system to input this blog and am refraining from doing any editing at all for the last paragraph or soso, if it looks a little funny, you know why
